1. General Information This website is operated by monoles. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us,” and “our” refer to monoles. By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by these Terms. We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms at any time by posting updates to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes.

2. Online Store Terms You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian to use this website. You agree not to use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, and not to violate any laws in your jurisdiction. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

3. Product Information & Artisan Characteristics We make every effort to display our products as accurately as possible. However, because our amino acid soaps are freshly handcrafted in small batches, colors and images may vary slightly due to screen settings, lighting, or the organic nature of the ingredients. Each bar of soap is individually crafted and unique. Minor variations resulting from the hand-making process—such as tiny air bubbles, subtle shape variations, or minor colour shifts—are natural characteristics of artisan craft and celebrate the beauty of imperfection. They are not considered product defects. All product descriptions and prices are subject to change at any time without notice.

4. Orders, Payments & Pre-Order Deposits All prices listed are in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if fraud or an unauthorized transaction is suspected. Payments are processed securely through trusted third-party payment gateways.

  • Pre-Orders & Custom Projects (e.g., Seasonal/Christmas Gifts): To secure your booking and initiate production for large pre-orders, seasonal holiday gifts, or custom sets, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total order value is required. Once studio production and raw material allocation have commenced, this 50% deposit will be fully forfeited in the event of customer cancellation.

5. Shipping & Production Lead Times As our products are made-to-order and handcrafted, our standard handling and production time takes approximately 1 to 2 weeks from the date of payment before dispatch. We aim to ship all orders promptly once completed. However, delays may occur due to external factors (e.g., postal service issues, weather, or public holidays). We are not responsible for any lost or delayed shipments once the package has left our facility.

6. Returns and Refunds Due to hygiene and personal care safety reasons, all sales are final once dispatched. Please refer to our separate Refund Policy for specific details regarding severely damaged items.

7. Intellectual Property All content on this website, including text, images, graphics, and logos, is the property of Monoles and is protected by copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product.

9. Governing Law These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
